Reiki (Ray-key) is a Japanese healing technique that uses universal (or source) energy. Reiki is a gentle, noninvasive healing system that yields powerful results for the body, mind and spirit.

The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy”. This is the Universal Life Force Energy that flows in and around all living things.

It is believed that a person’s “ki” or energy should be strong and free flowing. When energy flows smoothly, the body will be in balance. When the energy becomes weak or blocked it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance. This could lead to becoming sick more often.

Reiki energy has several basic effects: reduces stress, stimulates the immune system, aids in detoxifying the system, removes energy blockages, increases energy by raising and balancing the vibrational frequency, assists in relieving some pain and symptoms of health conditions.
